Clearing agent service

Customs brokers focus on the import side of export transactions.

If you import goods, the goods must be cleared in the country of delivery. Therefore, unlike freight forwarders, clearing agents are more specific to their countries, because they directly conduct extensive transactions with local customs authorities.

Our cleaning agent service includes the following:

Arrange the transportation of goods from / to the customer's premises and ports. ​

Provide cost-effective freight shipping solutions according to customer requirements.

Calculate import duties and taxes payable / vat.

Assist in customs clearance instructions to ensure that all information received from the shipper and the consignee is accurate before submission for customs clearance - follow strict rules, if not, a large number of penalties may be imposed on the clearing agent and the importer / consignee.

Prepare the customs declaration form (BOE) submitted to customs / SAR through electronic data interchange (EDI).

Collect customs duties and taxes / VAT from the shipper and pay to the customs / SARS authorities.

Arrange customs clearance / release in compliance with relevant requirements, i.e. customs inspection, port health inspection and additional requirements for specific cargo requirements to be met before release, and avoid penalties / delays.

Familiar with the international common modes of transportation - air and sea.

Able to arrange the storage of goods (usually all large freight forwarders have their own warehouses).

Be able to arrange the distribution or "transportation" of goods according to the customer's instructions.

Be able to monitor the shipment and provide the estimated arrival time, and process all relevant shipping documents, such as certificate of origin, customs and port documents, such as Bill of lading and relevant shipping / negotiation documents.

Have a thorough understanding of cross-border cargo transportation.
